Behind CloudCan

Yassine Kabbaj spent 20+ years designing, integrating and migrating critical systems for major European organizations — telecom, energy, finance, manufacturing. Swisscom, Orange, ING, Michelin, Airbus, to name a few. He worked with Accenture, Capgemini, IBM. He saw firsthand how large-scale infrastructure works — and how provisioning delays can be a bottleneck, even in the best-equipped organizations.

He also saw companies too small to interest an enterprise integrator, left on their own with public cloud, with no control over their data or infrastructure. Simple tasks like a server reboot taking days, billed per ticket by an external provider.

CloudCan was born from that experience. On-premise private cloud infrastructure, built on open technologies, so businesses can finally take back control without breaking their budget.

Yassine has been working with Apache CloudStack since 2014. This isn't a recent discovery or a passing trend — it's a choice refined by years of hands-on experience in production environments.
